Winner: NHW Manningham

We are pleased to announce Neighbourhood Watch Manningham for their project "Don’t Do Something Silly: Beating Scams," aimed at educating Chinese-speaking residents on how to avoid scams. This project featured presentations in both English and Chinese, as well as brochures in Traditional and Simplified Chinese, distributed widely across the community. With over 56 elderly residents attending the initial presentation, and further outreach efforts to the broader migrant community, this initiative has raised awareness about scams and helped vulnerable residents feel more secure. Manningham NHW’s culturally sensitive approach and continued efforts to protect their community from fraud are truly commendable.

Connect With Us

Neighbourhood Watch Victoria acknowledges the 38 mobs, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we operate, live, and gather as employees and volunteers. We recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community and pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.

At Neighbourhood Watch, we believe everyone has the right to feel safe and welcome. We are committed to ensuring diversity, inclusion and equity are embedded throughout our organisation – in the work we do, the services we deliver and among our staff, volunteers, and the communities we work with.
